What & Why

The Ride for Reed is a charity motorcycle poker run to raise money to assist servicemen at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Bethesda Naval Hospital. The funds raised through rider fees, sponsorships, and raffles will be used to support Operation Gift Cards and deliver supplies to the support houses and Red Cross stations at the hospitals.  The ride is being put on by the Knights of Columbus Assembly #1605 of Milford, CT.

Operation Gift Cards is a joint effort of 34 Connecticut Chapters, Posts, Detachments, and Units of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Marine Corp League, Military Order of the Purple Heart, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

When & Where

Sunday, July 18 2010 

The Ride will start and end at :

Knights of Columbus
625 Bridgeport Ave.
Milford, CT  06460

Registration will run from 10:00-11:00am
First bikes leave at 11:00am

Hands must be turned in by 1:30pm

Following the ride return to the Knights for a BBQ lunch and music provided by Sound Logic Productions.

An award for Best Hand will be announced at 2pm.
 

A minimum donation of $20 per rider and $10 per passenger is required, all contributions are tax deductible.  Checks should be made payable to:

Those that register the day of the event will not be gauranteed event souvenirs.
